The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday carried out a comprehensive mock drill across multiple centres, including Chennai, to ensure fool-proof conduct of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for Sunday, June 21.With stringent multi-layered security measures in place, the agency aims to prevent any repetition of the paper leak controversy that led to the cancellation of the original exam held on May 3. Question papers were transported to test centres under tight escort security, and answer sheets were collected using the same protocol during the drill. All examination centres were placed under CCTV surveillance as part of the exercise.Key Guidelines for CandidatesCandidates will be allowed entry into the examination centres only between 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM on Sunday.
