Northern California Earthquake 5 6 Magnitude Tremor Felt Across Region Aftershocks Reported

A 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Willits in Northern California on Wednesday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), sending tremors across a large part of the region and triggering emergency alerts for residents.

The earthquake occurred at around 8:10 am PDT, with people across Northern California receiving notifications through the MyShake earthquake early warning app.
