Raj Nidimoru of the hit director duo Raj & DK has confirmed that writing for The Family Man Season 4 is “in full swing.” Speaking to Variety India on June 28, 2026, he revealed that Seasons 3 and 4 were always planned as one long story. While some viewers felt Season 3 ended midway, Raj clarified that the central narrative hit a logical pause, with only Srikant Tiwari’s personal arc left unfinished. “So yes, we’re writing furiously. We have to get to the second part of that story,” he said.
Lead actor Manoj Bajpayee also shared an update, noting that Raj & DK are currently busy with Farzi Season 2 but will soon shift focus back to The Family Man. He hinted that Season 4 could release in the second half of 2027, adding that “Its his guess.” On whether it will be the final season, Bajpayee joked that Prime Video might extend it, but confirmed their contracts end with Season 4. “Fourth is something where we have to conclude this story, and after that, it is up to Prime Video if they wish to continue.”
The Family Man follows Srikant Tiwari, a middle class man secretly working for a special intelligence agency while balancing family life. The spy thriller blends action, comedy, and drama, tackling terrorism, politics, and personal dilemmas. Alongside Manoj Bajpayee, the show stars Sharib Hashmi and Priyamani, with Raj & DK’s signature mix of high stakes missions and grounded humor.
Season 4 is expected to pick up directly from Season 3’s cliffhanger, wrapping up Srikant’s unfinished journey. Though no official release date is locked, both Raj Nidimoru and Manoj Bajpayee point to late 2027 as a likely window. As writing progresses, fans can expect the same intense, layered storytelling that made The Family Man one of Prime Video’s biggest Indian originals.
