Born into a humble agricultural family in Dharmavaram, Anantapur district, K. Venkata Narayana’s journey is a remarkable story of merit, determination and reinvention.
With parents who never had formal education, KVN studied in Municipal High School and government institutions on merit scholarships before moving to Bengaluru for higher studies.
He went on to become a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Cost Accountant and Law Graduate.
Beginning his career at Prestige Group, he rose from a managerial role to become CEO, playing a pivotal role in transforming the company into one of India’s leading real estate giants with a market capitalization of nearly ₹70,000 crore and a workforce of over 10,000 employees.
He was instrumental in landmark Chennai developments including Forum Vijaya Mall, Prestige Polygon, Prestige Bellavista and Prestige Metropolitan.
He later founded KVN Group and KVN Productions, emerged as a startup mentor, and led several impactful social initiatives through the KVN Foundation, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Known for his deep understanding of economics, industry and governance, KVN has cultivated strong relationships across political, business and policy-making circles.
Adding another feather to his cap, K. Venkata Narayana now assumes the prestigious responsibility of serving as the Special Representative of the Government of Tamil Nadu in New Delhi.
