Allu Arjuns Aa23 Look Test Set In Mumbai

While Allu Arjun is currently busy shooting for Raaka under Atlee’s direction, preparations for his next film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj are quietly gaining momentum.

Although the shooting of the project, tentatively referred to as AA23, is not expected to begin anytime soon, Lokesh Kanagaraj has already initiated work on the film. The director is reportedly planning look tests for Allu Arjun.

Since Allu Arjun has been spending most of his time in Mumbai for the filming of Raaka, he is said to have requested Lokesh to conduct the look tests there itself. As a result, Mumbai has become the base for the initial pre-production activities of AA23.

Meanwhile, industry circles are abuzz with speculation that Pooja Hegde’s recent short-hair makeover could be linked to this project.

However, there is no official confirmation yet regarding her involvement or whether she will play the female lead.

Sources say Lokesh Kanagaraj is keen on utilising the waiting period productively.

Rather than waiting for Allu Arjun to complete Raaka, he plans to finish most of the pre-production work, including script development, music sittings, character designs and look tests.

The filmmaker is reportedly aiming to have everything ready so that the project can move into production without delay once Allu Arjun becomes available.
