Power Plate Meals, LLC, a West Fargo, North Dakota-based Cooperative Interstate Shipping establishment, is recalling approximately 5,795 pounds of frozen meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on Thursday, June 18.According to FSIS, the recalled products contain soy, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. The recall was classified as Class II means, ‘the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote,' and it remains active as of June 18, 2026.The affected frozen meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes products were produced between June 25, 2025, and June 10, 2026. The recall applies to, 13.3-ounce vacuum-sealed plastic tray packages labeled POWER PLATE MEALS MEATLOAF WITH GARLIC MASHED POTATOES with USE BY dates between June 25, 2026, and June 10, 2027.The products bear establishment number 217SEND inside the USDA mark of inspection and were distributed to distributors in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.FSIS said the issue came to light after a state inspector identified a labeling error. The problem was discovered when a state inspector notified FSIS that the final label did not contain soy in the ingredients list. No illnesses or adverse reactions linked to the recalled products have been confirmed so far. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.
