A recent social media post by controversial activist and Telugu Desam Party leader Mahasena Rajesh, in which he appeared to allege that he had been humiliated within the party, has created ripples in political circles. Mahasena Rajesh, a well-known political c
ommentator and social media influencer, joined the TDP ahead of the 2024 elections and was quickly given an Assembly ticket.
However, due to unavoidable circumstances, he could not contest the election. The party subsequently appointed him as a state spokesperson.
When the TDP recently announced its new organisational committees, Rajesh was not given any official position.
Despite this, he has continued to actively support the party through videos, social media posts and political commentary.
In a lengthy and emotional post, Rajesh reflected on personal suffering and humiliation.
“Every person faces some form of hardship every day, but most troubles disappear after a night’s sleep. When a person wakes up the next morning, the burden of the previous day’s pain is usually gone, and life begins afresh,” he wrote.
However, Rajesh said there was one form of suffering that did not disappear overnight—humiliation.
According to him, genuine humiliation continues to weigh heavily on a person’s mind even after sleep, indicating that the emotional burden remains unresolved.
He said most people experience such humiliation only occasionally, perhaps once in several years.
However, he claimed that he had been carrying the burden every day for the past “two years and two months.”
Rajesh wrote that he had woken up every morning during this period carrying the pain of humiliation, describing it as 734 days and 734 nights, or nearly 18,000 hours of emotional distress.
He said he regularly prayed for the strength to ensure that the pain did not turn into anger or hatred. He also expressed hope that no one, not even an enemy, would have to endure a similar experience.
Although Rajesh previously held a state-level party position and recently met TDP working president Nara Lokesh, he has not openly expressed any dissatisfaction with the party leadership.
However, political observers believe that he may not have received any assurance from Lokesh, and that disappointment could have been reflected in his latest social media post.
