Veteran filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s latest creation, Sing Geetham, is showing encouraging growth at the box office.
The film opened to a reasonable response on Day 1, but strong word of mouth has now started working in its favour.
On Day 2, Sing Geetham collected Rs 1 crore net in India, registering a sharp 85.2% jump from its opening-day collection of Rs 54 lakh.
The film recorded this collection from 665 shows.
With this, its total India net collection has reached Rs 1.59 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 1.82 crore.
The film is receiving appreciation across different regions, but its performance appears particularly strong in urban markets. Occupancy and advance bookings are reportedly improving steadily in major cities.
Content-driven films often depend heavily on positive audience recommendations, especially in A-centres, and Sing Geetham seems to be following the same route.
With excellent word of mouth and a strong Day 2 jump, all eyes are now on whether the film can maintain the momentum and turn into a successful box-office performer.
