Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming film Lenin seems to be facing another delay.
The movie, which has already been postponed several times, is now reportedly moving out of its June 26 release date.
Some work on the film is still pending, and industry talk suggests that releasing it by the end of this month may be difficult.
Lenin was initially expected to hit theatres in May. However, the makers announced that they were postponing the film because of Peddi.
Later, Peddi was also delayed, following which the team fixed June 26 as the new release date.
This time, Nagarjuna himself announced the date and asked fans to mark June 26 on their calendars. However, fresh reports now suggest that the film may not arrive on that date either.
The makers are reportedly considering July 10 as the new release date. An official announcement is still awaited.
Lenin marks Akhil’s return to the big screen after a long gap. Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead, while Murali Kishore is directing the film.
The movie is being produced by Manam Entertainments in association with Sithara Entertainments and presented by Annapurna Studios. Thaman is composing the music.
