Akshay Kumar’s horror comedy Bhooth Bangla has started streaming on Netflix from Today, June 12. The film is directed by Priyadarshan and marks their reunion after ten years. Akshay plays Arjun who inherits an old palace with his sister Meera played by Mithila Palkar.
He plans to hold his sister’s wedding there even after hearing local stories about Vadhusur, a demon that targets newly married couples. The film mixes scares with comedy and keeps viewers entertained with funny situations and spooky moments. The cast also includes Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal and the late Asrani. Saif Ali Khan and Saiyami Kher are in key roles too. Bhooth Bangla did strong business in theatres and collected around 182 crore net in India and 269 crore worldwide in 55 days.
