Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is reportedly preparing to return to active public engagement through a statewide bus tour aimed
at revitalising the party and strengthening its grassroots organisation.
According to party sources, KCR has begun working on a roadmap for the proposed yatra after staying away from active public programmes for a considerable period.
The initiative is expected to focus on reconnecting with party workers, energising the cadre and taking the party’s message directly to the people.
At the same time, BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) is also planning a separate padayatra next year.
KTR has already indicated publicly that he intends to undertake a foot march and interact extensively with people across Telangana.
The possibility of both KCR and KTR launching major public outreach programmes has generated considerable political interest.
Party leaders believe the twin campaigns could help the BRS regain momentum and strengthen its position as the principal opposition force in the state.
Political observers see the proposed bus tour and padayatra as part of a broader strategy to counter the ruling establishment and reconnect with voters ahead of future electoral contests.
By deploying both senior leaders in separate but complementary campaigns, the party appears to be adopting a dual-pronged approach to mobilise support across different regions.
While the exact routes, timelines and schedules have not yet been officially announced, BRS sources say clarity is expected soon.
The proposed outreach efforts are already becoming a major talking point in Telangana politics, with party workers eagerly awaiting details of the campaigns.
