The makers of the much-awaited flick Sing Geetham unveiled a video-call conversation featuring Rajamouli, Nag Ashwin, and Devi Sri Prasad, where they shared their thoughts on Sing Geetham. Rajamouli
revealed that he has always admired the crazy and imaginative ideas of Singeetham Srinivasa Rao.
“I think it was in 1995 that my brother Keeravani told me about this idea by Singeetham. The concept completely blew me away. For a whacky story like this, it needed a whacky and creative mind like Nag Ashwin,” said Rajamouli, appreciating the filmmaker for backing such an unconventional project, and also bought the first ticket of the movie.
Nag Ashwin thanked Rajamouli and recalled how his association with Singeetham Srinivasa Rao began.
“It all started while I was making Mahanati. I approached Singeetham garu for the Maya Bazaar sequence, and that journey was incredibly exciting. Initially, we wanted to back this film as a tribute to Singeetham garu, but as we got deeper into it, we found the story truly fascinating. It is highly relevant and something audiences of all ages will enjoy,” he said.
Devi Sri Prasad also spoke fondly about Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and described the project as a unique experience.
“Scoring music for a musical film was completely different for me. I had composed nearly 200 tracks even before the shoot began, and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process,” he shared.
Promising a unique blend of music, fantasy, and supernatural elements, Sing Geetham is all set to hit theatres tomorrow.
