Mythri Movie Makers officially launched its fourth Tamil film with a grand pooja ceremony in Chennai at their MRC Nagar office.
Tentatively titled #MythriTamil04 and DV4, the project stars Dhruv Vikram in the lead. Director Karan Arvind Kumar helms this full-scale commercial entertainer, marking a major step for Mythri’s pan-India expansion beyond Telugu cinema.
The launch event saw directors Adhik Ravichandran, Ravikumar, Keerthiswaran, Antony Bhagyaraj, Raja, Sashi, and Hi Nanna fame Shouryuv in attendance. Keerthiswaran gave the first clap for the muhurat shot. Dhruv Vikram, known for intense roles, will sport a mass-oriented avatar. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar.
DV4 features a strong technical team with Vicky as cinematographer, Jayasurya as editor, GM Sekhar as production designer, and Vikram Mor for action choreography. Karan Arvind Kumar co-wrote the screenplay with Sabi. Reports confirm Prithviraj and Sai Dheena in key roles, promising powerful character arcs alongside Dhruv Vikram’s transformation.
With regular shooting starting soon, Mythri plans to reveal the title, heroine, and full cast shortly. DV4 aims to present Dhruv Vikram in a new commercial mass action genre. Trade buzz suggests high expectations, as Mythri Movie Makers continues delivering big-budget projects across South Indian languages after recent Kollywood successes.
