❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the eligibility for EAMCET/EAPCET counselling?

Candidates who qualified in the AP EAPCET / TS EAPCET exam and secured at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the group subjects (MPC/BiPC) in Intermediate or equivalent are eligible to participate in counselling.

What documents are required for EAMCET certificate verification?

The key documents needed are: 1. EAMCET/EAPCET Hall Ticket & Rank Card, 2. SSC & Intermediate Marks Memos, 3. Transfer Certificate (TC), 4. Study Certificates from Class 6 to Intermediate, 5. Residence Certificate, 6. Income Certificate, 7. Caste Certificate (if applicable), and 8. Aadhaar Card.

How does the Web Options entry process work?

Candidates who successfully verified their certificates will receive a login ID. You must log in during the scheduled dates, add your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority, and freeze your options. Your seat will be allotted based on rank and preferences.

Can I change my web options after freezing them?

Generally, options cannot be changed once they are frozen. However, both AP and TS counselling authorities provide a dedicated window of 1-2 days to edit or modify saved options before the seat allotment algorithm runs.

What is self-reporting in EAMCET counselling?

Self-reporting is an online acceptance process where you confirm your allotted college seat without submitting physical certificates immediately. You must generate the "Joining Report" online and then report to the college physically within the stipulated time to finalize your admission.

What happens if I get a seat in Phase 1 but want to try for Phase 2?

If you want to look for better options, you can participate in Phase 2. However, it is highly recommended to complete self-reporting for your Phase 1 seat first. If you get a seat in Phase 2, the Phase 1 seat is automatically cancelled. If you don't get a seat in Phase 2, you retain your Phase 1 seat.

Who is eligible for tuition fee reimbursement through EAMCET?

Candidates whose parents meet the state-specified income criteria (e.g. holding a white ration card or specific income certificates) and who got admitted through convenor quota in EAMCET counselling are eligible for fee reimbursement schemes like Jaganna Vidya Deevena (AP) or TS ePASS Tuition Fee Reimbursement.
