What is the difference between Ration Card and Rice Card in Andhra Pradesh?▼
In AP, the traditional white Ration Card has been upgraded and replaced with the "Rice Card" for eligible BPL families to receive subsidized rice and other groceries. The pink card remains for non-poor families primarily for identity and registration purposes.
How can I check my AP Rice Card status online?▼
Go to the official EPDS AP portal (epds.ap.gov.in), click on "RC Status" or "Rice Card Status Check", enter your Aadhaar number or Rice Card number, and submit to view current eligibility and active/inactive status.
How to check if AP Ration Card member e-KYC is completed?▼
Visit the AP AePDS website (aepds.ap.gov.in) and navigate to "RC Details". Enter your ration card number. In the member list table, check the e-KYC status column next to each family member's name. It will display "Yes" or "No".

What are the income limits to get an AP Rice Card?▼
To get a Rice Card, the family's monthly income must be less than Rs. 10,000 in rural areas and Rs. 12,000 in urban areas. Additionally, the family must not own a four-wheeler (except taxis) or own more than 3 acres of wet land / 10 acres of dry land.
