As the two-day Brics Summit came to an end on Sunday, a political tussle began between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with the Opposition party accusing the BJP of imposing its dietary preference and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi pointed out that 80% of Indians are non-vegetarians , after an all-vegetarian fare was served for international leaders at New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam.
