This program is targeted at all aspirants in the age group of 15 to 28 years (Age limit for SC/ST, OBC & People with Disabilities is as follows: SC/ST - 33 years, OBC - 31 years, PwD - 33 years) to enhance the employability of these youth of Bihar.

The Kushal Yuva Program curriculum includes three components: life skills, communication skills (English and Hindi), and basic computer literacy. The course duration, covering all three components, would be 240 hours (Life Skills for 40 hours, Communication Skills for 80 hours, and the Basic Computer Literacy component for approx. 120 hours).

The Kushal Yuva Program examination is held in the last week of every month. The exam is held in four slots- first slot from 8 am to 10 am, second slot from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, third slot from 1 pm to 3 pm and fourth slot from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
