Kiran Abbavaram is steadily carving a distinct path for himself with a series of films that showcase his willingness to explore different genres.
After delivering back-to-back successes with KA, K-Ramp and Chennai Love Story, the actor has once again chosen a completely different space for his next outing.
From thrillers and mass entertainers to emotional love stories, Kiran has consciously avoided being confined to a particular image and continues to reinvent himself with every project.
His upcoming lineup reflects the same approach. Along with a film under Joy Films, KA13 and KA14 under Sukumar Writings, Kiran is now set to headline KA15, an ambitious mythological action-fantasy titled Indraputra.
The film is being produced by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora and marks the directorial debut of Srikanth Puppala.
More importantly, the makers have announced Indraputra as the first chapter of an expansive mythological universe, indicating plans for a much larger cinematic world.
Inspired by Indian mythology and the eternal battle between dharma and adharma, the film is expected to blend mythology, fantasy, action and emotion on a grand scale.
Kiran Abbavaram will be seen in a powerful new avatar, marking yet another transformation for the actor.
Currently in pre-production, Indraputra is scheduled to begin principal photography in October and is being planned as a pan-India release next year.
The story is written by Keerthan, while the screenplay is by Tanvi N. Dutta. Keerthan and Kussum Arora are serving as co-producers.
Further details about the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.
