To rub salt in the wounds, fans of the Malayalam film Premalu realised that it had been removed from OTT ahead of the Hindi remake’s release. Fans fumed at the film's absence from the platform and took to social media to vent their frustration.
A minute-long trailer for Prem Keetanu was released on Monday. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the film stars Veer Pahariya, Aafiya Sayed, Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi, Nikhil Vijay, and others. While the film follows the basic beats of Premalu, it also veers slightly by having the protagonists meet in college rather than later in life. It will be released in theatres on October 2.
