Suriya and Mamitha Baiju’s Vishwanath and Sons has completed its first three days in theatres with a strong worldwide total, crossing the Rs 110 crore mark.
According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 20.55 crore net in India on Day 3, registering a 7.6% drop from Saturday’s Rs 22.25 crore.
Despite the decline, the film stayed above the Rs 20 crore mark for the second consecutive day.
With Sunday’s collection, Vishwanath and Sons has now earned Rs 58.15 crore net in India.
Its total India gross stands at Rs 67.22 crore.
The film has also performed well overseas, collecting Rs 10 crore on Day 3 and taking its total overseas gross to Rs 43 crore.
With this, the film’s worldwide gross has reached Rs 110.22 crore in just three days.
With Rs 110.22 crore worldwide in three days, Vishwanath and Sons has closed its opening weekend on a strong note.
The key test now will be how well the film holds on weekdays.
